This Privacy Policy explains how WillYou.eu processes personal data when you visit the website, create an account, create an event or invitation, or use the RSVP functionality.

For account, service, security and payment-related processing, WillYou.eu acts as the data controller.
For personal data entered by Guests in RSVP responses, the Organizer may act as the controller. Where applicable, WillYou.eu processes that data to provide the invitation and RSVP service on behalf of the Organizer.
2. Personal Data We Process
Depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- your name and email address;
- account and login information;
- event and invitation details;
- invitation text, photographs and uploaded files;
- Guest names and RSVP responses;
- comments and other information submitted through an invitation;
- payment status, transaction identifier and payment-related metadata;

- messages sent to WillYou.eu.
We do not ask Users to provide personal data that is not necessary for the intended use of the service.
Users must not use WillYou.eu to collect sensitive or unnecessary personal data through invitations or RSVP forms.
3. Purposes of Processing
We process personal data to:
- create and manage User accounts;
- create, publish and manage invitations and Events;
- collect and display RSVP responses to the Organizer;
- enable Guests to edit or delete their own RSVP responses where available;
- process payments and activate paid features;
- provide customer support;
- secure the website and prevent abuse, fraud and spam;
- maintain, troubleshoot and improve the service;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
4. Legal Bases
Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on:
- performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract;
- compliance with a legal obligation;
- our legitimate interests in operating, securing and maintaining the service; or
- consent, where consent is legally required.
Where the Organizer collects Guest data, the Organizer is responsible for ensuring that an appropriate legal basis exists for that collection and use.
5. RSVP Data
RSVP responses are intended to be visible only to the Organizer of the relevant invitation and persons authorized by the Organizer.
RSVP data is not made publicly visible merely because a Guest submits a response. The Organizer is responsible for deciding how exported or otherwise obtained RSVP data is used after receiving it.
Guests should contact the relevant Organizer regarding the content and use of their RSVP data. They may also contact WillYou.eu about processing carried out by WillYou.eu.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Deleted data include:
- account information;
- Events and invitations;
- RSVP responses;
- Guest information;
- photographs;
- uploaded files; and
- other content associated with the account.
A test account is deleted 21 days after creation if no Event under that account has been paid for.
An account remains active for 30 days after the applicable paid period of the last paid Event. It is then archived for 30 days. After that additional 30-day period, the account and associated data are permanently deleted.
Once permanently deleted, data cannot be restored.
Some information may be retained for a longer period where this is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, prevent abuse or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. Service Providers
WillYou.eu uses its own server to host and operate the service.
Payments are processed by Mollie. Mollie may process payment and transaction data as necessary to complete and administer payments.
WillYou.eu does not store complete payment card details.

9. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including HTTPS, access controls, password hashing, protection against unauthorized requests, rate limiting, anti-spam measures and secure handling of account and invitation access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and exported data.
